At McKesson, we care about our people. When you’re at work, at home, and everywhere in between. And we know that in life, things happen you can’t always plan for—from hurricanes to house fires. That’s why we set up our employee relief fund. It’s a way for our people to get (and give) help in the hard times. And it’s how we take care of our own.

If you find yourself dealing with the unexpected, you can apply for a grant from the Taking Care of Our Own Fund. We offer two types of grants.
Get You to Safety Grant
Do you need immediate support due to a large natural disaster or other catastrophe? We provide $1,000 grants to help employees impacted by government declared disasters. For information on how to apply, please contact the McKesson Foundation at email@example.com or check out our FAQs.
We Care Grant
Depending on your situation, we provide grants up to $5,000 to cover basic costs after an unexpected event. To make sure we help those who need it most, income guidelines apply.
To find out if you qualify for a grant, look at our FAQ. If it feels like the right resource for you, fill out the online application. It’s a grant, not a loan, so you never have to pay us back. We know these situations are time-sensitive, so we'll get back to you as soon as we can, usually within 3-5 business days. If approved, you should receive payment within 2 weeks.
When you donate to the Fund, we’ll double your donation through the McKesson Foundation. Because making a difference for patients starts with making a difference for each other.
